I've been pondering away... what to try, what to try?
I've decided on a totally bonkers Stephen West shawl!
I've been eyeing them up for years and now is the time to challenge myself! I am thinking I would love to try the Color Craving.

What do you think?
Let me tell you why...
I dye all of these colours, lots and lots... every colour under the sun and yet I knit with a small 'safe' range of them for myself.
That's challenge 1 - to try colour out of my comfort zone.
The second reason is that I have been knitting 'safe' too... I've had so little time over the last few years, that anything beyond the stockinette, garter, or simple eyelets has me frazzled. It's not that I can't do lace... I love this

But look at the date 2012! I don't think I have bothered with anything complicated since then!!
Challenge 2 - a project that makes me really think
Of course I could get in a right old mess with it all, but it's the attempt that will make me feel like I have tried something new :)
