This is an update to part 10 of our series, where Carolina of Camino de Yara had spun the yarn. Here, in cuteness overload you can see how fine her crochet came out.
My husband spun a very fine yarn, that was paired with a variegated silk thread, making it perfect for small doll work. I made this hat and sweater set for one of my vintage Maple Town dolls, and since he looked like a fisherman, I created a little beach vignette for him. Sara's wool was, once again, so well combed and such quality, that made both the spinning and the crocheting a real pleasure.
The next Colour Club is sold out, but sign ups for a new one will open soon!
Have a wonderful day,
