So last time I mentioned the maths behind my pattern so far and coming away from that, I guess I scared myself. Was the maths right? I couldn't be sure... I remeasured and relooked at the figures... almost scared to take the risk... but it's just knitting in the end. What does it matter if I have to rip out and start again? And so I cast on.
So far as you can see I have the neckline done and have started my armhole increases.
It looks ok... I can get in on over my head!
I am noticing a stretch to the yarn though, so I am wondering if I should have either picked up the body stitches to knit my neckline after knitting the body, rather than started from the neckline binding down... or I could see if I could add a binding to the inside neckline at the back when I'm finished to help stabilise the neck...
What do you think?
