I'm feeling in a holiday mood today and am starting to think about decorations and wrapping papers... on my search for ideas I came across these cute yarn wrapping ideas. From top left to right, bottom left to right the original links are from;
- http://mamaskram.blogspot.com.au/2013/01/sterne-furs-geburtstagskind.html. Crochet with yarn is a quick and easy option for wrapping. There are many crochet pattern dictionaries out there that will give you lots of shape ideas.
- http://concretehoney.blogspot.co.uk/2012/12/poor-effort.html. Pom-poms are easy to make and a great way to get kids involved and use up scraps. There are lots of pom-pom makers on the market, or you can use the old fashioned cardboard method.

- http://style-files.com/2013/12/23/10-beautiful-christmas-gift-wrapping-ideas. There are lots of great ideas on this blog post, but what I really, really liked is this one... the pom-pom over the postcard. I was thinking this could be a really nice way to send an updated family picture to some one special, topping the parcel off with a yarny pom-pom to show how much though and effort you put in.
