As part of our working bites introduction I thought I ought to mention a bit about easy food storage if you are out and about working, or you want to pre-prepare food at home.
Here are a couple of storage options I like to use and recommend;
Mason Jars - trendy at the moment on the blogs and on pinterest, these are wonderful storage for food... you can also cook using them too.
Tupperware containers - good old Tupperware is often freezable, microwaveable and dishwasher proof. They are easy to clean and come in a variety of shapes and sizes.
For the foray into our food discussions I am going to be using three different sized mason jars I bought from Adams (my local www.homehardware.co.uk)... one for deserts or snacks (Kilner Clip Jar Round 125ml £1.99) , one for a main meal (Kilner Clip Jar Round 0.5L £2.79) and one for a beverage (Jam Jar 1lb & Lid £0.69). If you'd like to try the recipes along with me then feel free to pick mason or Tupperware containers to fit these three ideas.
Remember neither of these container options need to be expensive... check your local kitchen, or hardware store, as well as your supermarket to find something that fits your budget.
Have a wonderful day... Sara x
