In the interest of being fully disclosing about my food background, I have to say I am a home cook... not a chef, by any means. Please bear this in mind as we explore the Working Bites discussions and recipe posts I have prepared for us.
I do aim to provide a balance in the food (as shown above in the eat well chart)... but there may be some posts may be more treat orientated. Afterall, every now and again we need a treat while we work!
What I would like to focus on is a balance of ingredients that offer well tasting dishes we can prepare, cook and eat with ease. The key focus being on quick timings and dishes that can travel (as I often work away from home).
With this said I may also include dishes that are dairy and egg free, as I am personally allergic to these hormone based foods. In these cases I will state if diary or eggs could be added in to taste, as I know a lot of you will be able to eat those delicious food groups (how I miss cheese and poached eggs!)
