Part of what I would like to cover this month, in our Craft Business discussion is an introduction to some resource materials that I feel would benefit any indie business... I'm not just talking Etsy indies, but indie web businesses in general.
Today's resource is Handmadeology.
I do hope you will take advantage of following them on BlogLovin' or another RRS reader, the same with the other sites I plan to recommend. Why? Well it's much easier to store articles you'd like to read later, reread and be completely up to date with.
The premise of Handmadeology originally was to help Etsy sellers maximise their potential reach through social media, through clever marketing and through good listings and shop layouts... some if not all of these ideas are completely transferable to the off-Etsy business! What's more is that Handmadeogoly have now launched their own market forum.
You can read more about it here.
There are lots of useful tips on this site; from product photography to tips with Paypal, so it's definately a resource to explore.
P.S. Don't forget our giveaway!
