Fair Isle and colourwork are making it big in knitwear again this season... the trend is either yoke work, or large motifs. The high contrast in colour, or a singular 'pop' of colour is key... but not essential if you'd rather rock a neutral/monochrome look.
I thought it might be fun to take a look at how the high street is interpreting it vs. handmade. As it's always an interesting debate, I'm expecting some reluctance from true crafty types to want to shop high street, but there are others that do... I think it's interesting to see how the two compare in style interpretation. I will also finish off by selecting a couple of patterns I'd love to knit.
