If you haven't come across Pinterest yet, then I promise you it is a treat of inspiration!
The basic premise to Pinterest is that it is a place for you to log in and collect your favourite images and website links in one place. Here you can organise these images and website links into groups that act, in effect like inspiration boards. It's a great way to bookmark things you find on the internet and don't want to forget!
There are basic etiquette points to which we should stick to in order to use the service, but these are very simple. The service is free and usable on computers, smart tables and phones.
So how can we use this in a woolly way? Well it's simple... if you are on Etsy and find a great indie dyer then use the pin button on the item description to post the image, link and price to your pinboard on Pinterest. If you are on Ravelry and find that perfect pattern, then link it in the same way to your Pinterest boards. You can share these with friends on twitter and Facebook, or just save it as a personal shopping list.
