That's right, here I am calling out to all indie makers, craft suppliers and generally woolly friends... here is your chance to sponsor my new venture... Crafts of Texture the Woolly Lifestyle Blogzine!
I started this blog back in 2007, when I started out in my craft business… I wasn’t sure where to start or what my message was. I tried many guised over the following years culminating in what you read today… the confessions of a wool addict and her woolly world!
Aside from discussing happenings here at Sara's Texture Crafts (my wool business), I also aim to cover varying topics of personal, business and general craft interest, with a woolly twist. I'll be blogging at a rate of 70% lifestyle/crafts and 30% business (not necessarily mine, but craft business in general). You can find a list of key topics to the right, which is by no means exhaustive but generally accurate.
This is the very beginning of advertising on my blog, so I want to offer discounted rates for the first 3 months, starting November 2013 (ending end Jan 2014). During this time ad spaces will be limited.
Stats as of 23rd Oct 2013 are between 5700 and 6000 page views per month. The better page view months historically have been in the Autumn/Winter.
Currently I do have some affiliate links on the site, but these will appear below advertising slots and will be trimmed down to a very select number.
Why do I need sponsorship?
Well, to be honest Crafts of Texture has now become a separate business and it has costs and fees to pay. Among these will be things like quarterly giveaway prize bundles.
Whilst I aim to accept donations in terms of prizes there will also be an amount of shopping to procure those hard to find items, or indie specials and the shipping thereof... so sponsorship will help this.
Who am I looking for?
I would love to be approached by indie artists and suppliers who speak to my creative woolly and crafty friends; I am also looking for approach creative resources and learning centres. These I think will inspire my growing readership and enhance their experience to create their own woolly lifestyle.
Thank you for your support,Sara x
