Skill Level – Beginner to Intermediate
Materials – 166g/5.85oz Merino Tencel blend in colour Malachite. I recommend buying 200g/7oz of your chosen colour, that way you can choose if you want to lengthen your cowl as you knit and account for any differences in spinning and knitting gauge.
Fibre and yarn from www.SarasTextureCrafts.com
Alternatives: You could use any yarn for this cowl; hand spun, or hand dyed even commercial yarn will work. I recommend variegated or tonal semi solids.
Needles – 8mm/US11/UK0
Width – 20cm/7.87”
Length (Circumference) - 132cm/52”
These measurements are taken in a relaxed state and unblocked (block if you prefer the open weave look).
