Ok, so day three and I began to ply the Shetland wool. I decided to do this against cotton, because I wanted to preserve the texture of the curl elements in the fleece and make the differences in colour of the fleece stand out. It plied beautifully, so I have one skein ready to set.
I started a new bobbin, but needed a break halfway through... Time to continue needle felting my Sister's Christmas fairy. I have taken some pictures, but I'm not going to post them yet as I know she occasionally catches up with me on-line and I'd like it to be a surprise.
