Why do I steam to set the dye? Well, for me it's an easier way... It means I can walk away if I need too and do other things. This is only a small run solution though...

I've finished planning my Christmas crafting list, sort of. Just hope I can get my knitting and crochet gifts completed in time.
Thank you Ruby... just waiting for them to dry so I can photograph them.
I've made one thing for Christmas so far... everyone else is a bit more tricky. I might dye some yarn for one other present... we'll see.
