It' s unbelievable. Beans don' t stop! ahahah We are still harvesting french beans, butter beans and the normal green beans. We re seeded in the middle of the summer... and now we have new plants that are giving more! Tip: don' t take out the plants when they are done. just let them die in the spot and then decompose and go back to the soil. Bean plants take up a lot of nitrogen from the soil where they grow. By letting the plats die out and decompose in the spot, you are re introducing the nitrogen (esential for plants) into the soil... without thriwing fertilizers of any kind. Green green green.

Mine are too. Hope the frost doesnt get them.
Great tip... I'll make sure to do that. I also bought some green manure for over the winter.
Do you think we can protect the plants from the first frosts and save those growing beans?
